Writer’s Guidelines

We are so pleased that you are interested in contributing content for Women in Ag Tech (WiAT), part of Meister Media Worlwide’s Global Ag Tech Initiative (GATI). GATI provides robust information on the ag tech industry through original, contributed, and aggregated content, and as such, must ensure consistency and integrity in what we distribute. We ask that all contributors adhere to our writers’ guidelines below.

When contributing content,
please keep the following things in mind:

1. We will only accept non-commercial, informative content that is relevant to our Women in Ag Tech (WiAT) audience. We reserve the right to reject or request changes to content that appears too commercial in nature.

2. The topic must be relevant to our audience and fall within the scope of our coverage, which includes content focused on technology in the agriculture space and the women in our industry who are developing, using, and advancing ag tech.

3. Please keep submissions between 500 – 2,000 words.

4. Content must be written/spoken in the brand voice: Informative, Visionary, Trustworthy, Collaborative, and Focused.

5. Content should not be overly academic, but rather, content should convey information in a way that is understandable, clear, and insightful.

6. Always use original content. Each piece will be run through a plagiarism checker. We do not publish previously created content without explicit permission in writing from the original author.

7. If statistics or other finite information is used, please cite your source(s).

8. Please use Google Docs or Microsoft Word to submit your content. Video, audio, and images can be submitted via email, Google Drive or Vimeo.
