Rovensa Next Names Adriana Boock as Chief Product Officer to Strengthen Global Biosolutions Leadership

Rovensa Next, the global leader in biosolutions, has today announced the appointment of Adriana Boock as its new Chief Product Officer (CPO), effective immediately. This CPO role, established two years ago, was previously held by João Murta Cardoso on an interim basis, who will now resume his position as Chief M&A Officer on a fully-dedicated basis.

Reporting directly to Javier Calleja, CEO of Rovensa Group, Boock will be instrumental in supporting a single, cohesive vision across the Regulatory, R&D, Strategic Marketing, IP and PMO departments.  Adriana’s strong marketing background will be crucial for maximizing the value extracted from Rovensa Next’s comprehensive portfolio and driving product innovation, while simultaneously elevating the collective potential of these teams, fostering collaboration, and maximizing efficiency.

Adriana Boock brings nearly two decades of international experience in leadership roles at some of the agricultural sector’s most influential companies. Her distinguished career demonstrates an exceptional ability to bridge scientific research, R&D and market needs to deliver sustainable value for growers worldwide.

Most recently, as Global Marketing Director at Koppert, a leading player in the biosolutions sector, and a member of the Global Leadership Team in the Netherlands, Boock spearheaded a significant organizational transformation, successfully integrating marketing, innovation, and regulatory functions into a single, collaborative structure, strengthening the company’s leadership in biocontrol technologies.

Previously, as Head of Crop Solutions at Clariant in Switzerland, she skillfully managed the global adjuvants and specialties portfolio. Prior to Clariant, at BASF in Brazil and Germany, Adriana excelled at translating complex scientific insights into practical solutions and business strategies, leading global projects that strengthened the link between innovation, regulation and customer value.

Boock holds an MBA and a postgraduate degree from leading Brazilian institutions (IBMEC and FGV), as well as executive education in Marketing and Leadership from Northwestern Kellogg School of Management in US. Adriana was named by Forbes in 2024 as one of the 50 women leading Brazilian agribusiness to the world.
